Sun Secure patent1: 4 years of research went into the development of the ideal sun filter combination that would deliver very high sun protection with minimum negative impact on the marine environment.

SUN SECURE Extreme SPF50+ offers very high sun protection in an ultra matt, multi-resistant gel with a non-greasy finish. The new transparent ultra-melting balm-in-gel texture absorbs quickly for rapid application.

Very water resistant. Sweat- and rub-resistant.

Ideal for physical activities as it won’t run into the eyes. It’s completely invisible and non-sticky, making it ideal for those who are fussy about wearing sun protection and complain of stickiness and occlusiveness.

What’s More: SUN SECURE Extreme SPF50+ respects the marine environment. It has passed biodegradability tests based on OECD standard 301F, as well as eco-toxicity tests on algae (ISO 10253) and aquatic invertebrates (ISO 14669). These two species belong to the zooplankton and phytoplankton families, which are essential for the healthy growth of corals.

Sun Secure Extreme follows strict formulation criteria making it ideally adapted to skin that is hypersensitive to the sun, without any negative impact on the sensorial aspects of the product. It has an appealing and smooth while its efficacy is proven under dermatological control.

Very high protection against UVA and UVB provided by a patented*** combination of four organic, photostable sun filters that form a physical protective barrier on the skin’s surface:
- BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE (UVB and UVA filter)
- ETHYLHEXYL TRIAZONE (UVB filter)
- DIETHYLAMINO HYDROXYBENZOYL HEXYL BENZOATE (UVA filter)
- DIETHYLHEXYL BUTAMIDO TRIAZONE (UVB filter)

Biologically tested*** protection from infrared and visible light (including blue light). The new test monitors the activity of specific skin markers to ensure that skin is protected from damage caused by exposure to visible light (including blue light) and infrared.

Advice for use

Before sun exposure, apply a sufficient quantity evenly to the face and exposed skin. Repeat application frequently (eg. every two hours and after bathing).

Apply generously and evenly before sun exposure, covering all exposed skin. Reducing the amount applied significantly reduces the level of protection. A sun protection product never provides total protection. Repeat application frequently to maintain protection, especially after sweating, swimming or towel-drying. Avoid sun exposure between 12pm and 4pm when the sun’s rays are strongest, or make sure you are wearing protective clothing. Sunburn is dangerous, especially for children. Use sun protection products that are appropriate for your skin type. The use of this product should not encourage you to stay out in the sun for longer. Prolonged exposure to the sun can be dangerous. Keep babies and infants out of direct sunlight. Make sure your baby always wears protective clothing in the sun and only apply sun protection to exposed skin.
